General
Information
All of the system options are available from the
navigation bars that appear either at the top
and
the bottom of each page, or along the left side
of the page. The "OcalaClicks" logo
takes you back to the front page. The "Create
Seller's Account" link
allows you to create a Seller's Account and be
able to post new ads to the system.
Once a Seller's Account is created you can login
using the Seller's Account Login on the left-side
navigation. The "Modify
Listing " link in the My Clicks, under
your listsings, allows you to modify your
ads or delete your
ads.
To quickly
see all ads, just click on the "Search"
button next to the Classified Search box at top
of each page. To search the classifieds by Keyword,
type in the word you want to search for and hit ">",
results will be displayed containing that specific
word.
Browsing
Ads
You can browse through ads in the system by using
the search feature or by clicking through to the
specific category. All ads in that category will
be displayed.
Searching for
ads by subcategory
You can search for ads by subcategory at any time
by using the subcategory links
posted on the FREE Photo Classifieds page and the
main page. Click on one of the subcategories to
see all of the ads that have been posted within
that subcategory. The most recent photo classified
is displayed as that categories Featured Listing.
Search
For Ads By Keywords
To search for ads by keywords, you can use the
search form that appears in the navigation bar.
Enter the
keyword or keywords that you want to search on
in the input field. You can also specify whether
you
want to search in a particular section or in all
sections. Then click on the search button.
The
ads (if any) that matched your search criteria
will be displayed on the following page.
Placing
a New Ad
To place a new ad, please click on the Sell My
Stuff link from the navigation bar. You will be
prompted to login. Log onto the system using your
username
and password. Chose the appropriate Headline Prefix,
Category, Sub Category and all other relevant
information
for your new ad. You also have the option to choose
an associated Icon, choose one to represent your
listing. Next, upload a photograph to be displayed
with your listing. The maximum width of pictures
accepted is 467 pixels wide and less than 500K.
The standard format accept is .jpg and .gif image
types. If you are satisfied with the content of
your ad, click on the Submit button. If your ad
is successfully posted, the system will return
you to the My Clicks page displaying your new
listing.
Once your ad has been posted, you will have the
opportunity to modify or delete listing if needed.
Upload a
Photograph
To have a photograph displayed with your listing
you must follow these steps: Have the picture digitized,
either scanned or from digital camera. Crop the
picture to best display your item. The maximum pixel
width accepted is 467 pixels and 500k. Save the
file as a .jpg or .gif format. To upload your picture,
fill in all appropriate listing information and
hit the "Upload" button in the Upload
Photograph section of the form. You will be prompted
to choose your specific file. Browse through and
select the file you want to upload. Hit "Select".
This will put your the file name in to the field
ready for upload. Continue filling in your listing
information. When ready to place listing and upload
photograph, hit "Submit" once. This will
submit your listing information and upload your
photograph. Only hit submit once. You will see a
progress bar depending on your bandwidth. You will
then be return to the My Clicks page.
Modifying
Your Ad
To modify your ad, please click on the Modify Listing
link which appears below your listing within the
My Clicks page. You will directed to the Modify
Listing page which will contain your listing with
all previously entered information. Make your appropriate
changes to the listing and hit "submit changes".
Once your ad has been modified, the system will
display a successful modification notice and return
you to the My Clicks page.
Deleting
Ads
To delete your ad, please click on the Delete Listing
link which appears below your listing within the
My Clicks page. A confirmation will appear and confirm
your request, click "Delete Listing" if
confirmed. Once your ad has been deleted, the system
will display a successful deletion notice.
Renewing
Your Ads
Currently OcalaClicks only allows ads to be placed
for a maximum of 180 Days. If requiring your ad
duration
to be longer than 180 Days, please contact
us. Once your ad has expired, you
can go into your Seller's Account and renew it
anytime. Your listing will remain as part of your
Account until you delete your listing.
Creating
a Seller's Account
To access many of the features of this system,
you need to create a Sellers Account. Registration
is
required in order to ensure that you, and only
you, are able to edit the ads that you have posted.
If
you haven't already registered, you can register
at any time by clicking on the "Create Seller's
Account" link
in the navigation bar. Otherwise, when you perform
an activity that requires registration,
such as posting a new ad, you will see a login
form.
If you haven't already registered, click on the
"Create Seller's Account" link. On the following
page, please enter the relevant information into
the form fields, making sure to carefully read the
instructions at the top of the page. Required fields
are denoted by *. Fields that are not denoted by
a * are optional, although filling them in will
make it more convenient for you when you post ads
in the future, as this information will be automatically
filled into the ad posting form for you. Once you
have entered your information, click on the Submit
button. If you have entered the information correctly,
you will see a page informing you that you have
been successfully added to the user registration
database. Click on the Login To Account Screen button
to login using your new username and password. Once
you have done so, you will be able to access the
feature that you had selected, such as posting a
new ad, creating a homepage and more.
Please make a note of the password that you selected,
as you will need it anytime you come back in the
future to access certain features of this system.
If you ever forget your username or password, you
can click on the appropriate link on the logon form.
The system will allow you to attempt to retrieve
your information by entering your username/email
address.
Updating
Your Sellers Account Profile
Once you have registered, you can update your user
profile at any time by clicking on the "Update
Contact Information" link in the Resource Section
of the My Clicks area. You cannot change your username
at this point, but you can change your password
and other registration information. Once the system
has successfully updated your profile, you will
see a "Thank You" page informing you of
this.
Please make a note of the password that you selected,
as you will need it anytime you come back in the
future to access certain features of this system.

Replying
to an ad
You can reply to an ad by clicking on the email
link contained within that ad. You can then email
the seller directly asking an appropriate questions
about the item and/or to purchase that item. OcalaClicks
is not responsible for sellers responsibility to
fulfill transactions or quality of item. We encourage
all users to use caution when purchasing any item
online or through individuals,
Notifying
the Admin of Ads in Violation of System Policies
If you feel that a particular ad is in violation
of the system policies of this site, you can notify
the site administrator by clicking on the "Alert
Administrator" link contained within
that ad. The following page will contain a form
where you can enter your name, e-mail address,
and a brief message. Please explain why you feel
that this ad is in violation of system policies. |
